About the Clinic
The primary purpose of the Radford University Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic (RUSLHC) is to provide “hands-on” clinical training for graduate students majoring in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders. The RUSLHC provides prevention, assessment, and treatment of speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders for individuals from infancy through later adulthood.
All RUSLHC services are provided by graduate interns and supervised by state licensed and American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologists.
During the 2007-2008 academic year the RUSLHC provided a total of 3,989 clinical clock hours of training while providing services to clients from the New River and Roanoke Valleys and across Virginia.
